Moogfest, the annual festival celebrating the groundbreaking
achievements of maverick inventor Robert Moog and
his namesake synthesizer, is celebrating it's 5th year with a big bang. A stellar lineup of top Moog users will gather on Monday, October 13 at the Hammerstein Grand Ballroom in New York City for an evening of ground-shaking music to honor Bob Moog. Performers scheduled to appear include Umphrey's McGee, Eric McFadden Trio, Bernie Worrell (P-Funk), Aron Magner (Dico Biscuits), Jamie Shields (The New Deal), Joe Russo (The Duo), The Machine and others. Moog Music is proud to announce the winner of the opening band competition for Moogfest 2008 - The Machine. The New York based Pink Floyd Tribute band has been marvelling audiences around the country for the past 20 years extending the legacy of one of Rock's greatest bands.
